Cocktail hour was held by the hotel's pool, where guests sipped beverages including Pimm's Cups, lavender-infused mojitos, greyhounds, and "Tommy Guns"—the Colony Palms' take on the Manhattan. Guests were also offered hors d'oeuvres such as fried green tomatoes, Moroccan carrot soup, and spicy cashew salad. All catering by the hotel's Purple Palm restaurant.
