Everyone danced in a tent overlooking the Delaware river. James asked the band to learn Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer,” so he and his college pals could perform their traditional wedding dance. (Can you say “groom toss”?) The couple put extra seating around the dance floor so the two-left-feet crowd could watch without being stuck at an empty dinner table. Guests could also visit a lounge area on the banks of the Delaware River, complete with white leather sofas and a bar for port sampling. Cherry blossoms decorated the tent, a tribute to Washington, D.C., where the bride and groom met.
