"It's a Jewish tradition for the bride to circle the groom seven times before the ceremony begins. As I was circling, I noticed several guests frantically motioning to me that I had something on my face. Turns out my mother had left a big lipstick mark when she kissed me after she and my father walked me down the aisle. I tried to inconspicuously rub my cheek as I circled Dan, but guests kept signaling that the lipstick still wasn't gone. Finally, I blurted out, 'Which cheek is it?!' Everyone started laughing and it really broke the ice—the ceremony felt much more relaxed after that!"
