White Wedding Cake with Fresh Roses

"I'm not a big cake person, so I didn't even want to have a cake at the wedding—I wanted to serve cheese plates for dessert," says Kelly. "But Matt wanted a traditional wedding cake, so we compromised—we chose a vanilla cheesecake with raspberry filling." The cake was adorned with fresh roses and topped with a family heirloom cake topper that goes back almost seven generations in Matt's family.
