Because the terrain surrounding Casa Chorro, the site of the reception, was so hilly, two tents were set up for the alfresco dinner; each glowed romantically with lanterns and votives as guests dined on mango-based gazpacho, spicy beef fillet, chicken adobe, and chili ancho, followed by ice cream cones—Kurt's favorite dessert—handed out from colorful carts.
