Photographer: Britney Alves, turnloosetheart.com
Location: California
Judges' Comments: The “worm” usually happens late in the reception, after hours of partying, but this pair got their groove on before sunset. The soft glow of twilight, acting like a spotlight on a dance floor, enabled Alves to freeze one reveler's jubilation, flying tie and all. By shooting up from the ground, the photographer captured the dancers as well as the bystanders cheering them on.
