No one has mentioned throwing a bachelor party for my fiancé, and I can tell he’s really bummed. Is it rude for me to call the best man and ask him to organize something?
- Answer:
Rude? No way. In fact, he would probably appreciate a little reminder, since it’s likely that he just forgot (between football season and basketball season, it’s hard to concentrate on much else). Simply drop a casual hint, like "John is really looking forward to the bachelor party; let me know what night it is so I don’t make other plans for us." Then wait a couple of weeks. If he still doesn’t take action, you’ll have to be more direct and ask him to set up a day of golfing or an evening of lounging at a cigar bar.
