Question:

My bridesmaids all live in different cities. Can I wait until they come to town the day before the wedding to take them out?

Answer:

Absolutely—that's the traditional time to host a bridesmaids' lunch. It's your chance to collectively get excited for what's to come—go, team!—and thank everyone for throwing your shower, going dress shopping, and generally keeping you sane during the engagement. This is when you'll distribute their gifts (monogrammed wristlets, glam cocktail rings); if there's time and cash, take everyone for a post-lunch manicure. One caveat: Pay close attention to scheduling and give your maids some downtime before the rehearsal dinner.
