- Answer:
As a general rule, if you haven't kept in regular touch with someone whose wedding you attended, it's not imperative to invite them to yours, especially if you're having a ceremony and celebration on the small side, and are trying to cut costs. If the issue comes up with someone who might be offended, tell them the truth—you don't have the money to invite everyone you'd like and that you hope she'll understand why you made this difficult decision.
