These days it seems like everyone’s got an opinion, on both the professional and personal fronts. Of course you want to listen politely, but trying to accommodate everyone will only leave your head spinning. You may be better off creating a little distance this week and working independently. Strive to find a quiet and productive place for yourself without alienating your allies and supporters. Turning off e-mail during peak work hours and easing up on text messaging is a step in the right direction.
