Brow power
Courtesy of The B Spot
Brooke Shields, Jack Nicholson and Groucho Marx. They all have them—very distinctive brows. You might say they helped define Shields' look as a young model, not to mention how they continue to define Nicholson today. They also will help define your look as a new bride. Not surprisingly, local brow expert Rashida says she generally sees two to three brides a week. At her salon, The B Spot Chicago, Rashida only tweezes and trims. No waxing here (too damaging, she says). She is happy to see more brides arriving a few months before their big day (rather than some visiting a few days before with overly tweezed brows) because fuller, natural brows have been the trend for the last two years. Just FYI, Rashida loves Audrey Hepburn (so expect to see a Hepburn movie on the television screen) and the color chocolate brown, which is the shade of her mirrors.
