    Speaking of going green, you may not notice the sustainable-bamboo-and-recycled-cork floors, the organic cotton towels or the fact that all the cleaning products used at the new Silken Tent spa in Glenview are organic. After all you're supposed to be chilling out, but it sure feels good knowing you're helping out the environment while getting a pedicure and facial at the same time (a true time-saving luxury!). That's just one of the services at the 11,000-square-foot super spa in the Chicago suburb where most of the facial and massage products are organic too. (They even have organic nail polish!) The spa offers "I'm Getting Hitched" retreats including the Cold Feet Countdown (hmmm, I'm not such a fan of that name!) consisting of three 75-min massages and three 75-min facials for $690, or two firming wraps, four yoga or fitness classes and two 75-min facials for $550, or a 75-min couples massage and 60-min couples facial for $480 among other options. Silken Tent, which takes its name from a Robert Frost poem about the power of women (that name is much better!), also can accommodate small events and offers wedding day packages for brides or bridal parties.
