For starters, we understand that wedding photos are about you and the ones you love - those who will gather to support, cry, laugh, drink, dance, sing and drink. Weve been bet against before and weve never lost. Challenge accepted. Finally, our creativity. Anyone can take an average photo: guests at dinner, the couple cutting the cake, your cousin at the bar. Again. But youre unique. And this is your once-in-a-lifetime moment. We dont just take great photos. We capture raw emotion. Well be there when your grandparents take to the dance floor. When your mother comes in for another hug. When your father wipes away a tear. Were the best at what we do. Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? We can refer you to a replacement shooter in the event of an emergency.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Cameras- The latest in full-frame digital SLR camera equipment with gauranteed back-up equipment. 1x Canon Mark III 1Ds, 1x Canon Mark III 1D, 1x Canon Mark II 5D. Lights - x3 Profoto 600watt strobe heads on wireless triggers.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Always
Do you charge hourly or full day? Both
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Of course. Additional hours are billed at $340/hr. and can be added on site.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We do not shoot during dinner time at which point we break. Sometimes it is custom that the we are assigned a seat to eat however we do not expect this. We are content hiding out in the sidelines and ready to snap a photo at anytime.
Do you charge for travel? Full travel + accommodations are to be covered by the client.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? We pride ourselves on turnaround and have shots online within 1-2 weeks following. If you purchase the image disc or book please allow 4-8 weeks for delivery.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Digital watermarked images online
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes. According to provincial law images produced by a professional photographer are copyrighted the moment they are created. When a photographer sells you prints, he/she is actually selling rights to use those prints for your personal enjoyment, just like a music CD. Rest assured unveil does not sell your photos to anyone else we simply want to have full range to use them in our portfolio to show other engaged couples.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? The high-res image disc can be bought for a fee so you can print through your own accomodations.
Will images be available for viewing online? Yes of course
What kind of albums do you offer? The finest hand crafted coffee table books by Iris. They are simply beautiful
When will the client get the final album? 4-8 weeks
