Jerri Lee George, trained under the tutelage of world-renowned caterer, cookbook author, and food critic Marina Polvay. She began her career creating posh weddings, mitzvah celebrations and extravagant soirees from Miami to Boca Raton. She executed PR/advertising events and high-rise openings along the Gold Coast and was responsible for the nationally acclaimed Discorama held at the Miami Beach Convention Center in 1981.
Jerri was owner/developer of the first-ever breakfast and lunch delivery food franchise concept, Wee-Bag It Delivery Emporiums, in Boca Raton. As founder of Catering by George of south Florida, Jerri relocated to Denver in 2005 after Hurricane Wilma. She brought her east coast flair to the front-range and was well received by Denver area residents, their businesses and non-profit organizations. The strongly reputable local caterer was forced to cease operations after being stricken, in late 2009, with Bacterial Meningitis. Jerri now consults with VISION Catering, USA and is a Twitterbug on @catersavvy.
Executive Chef Anthony Boyer, active in the food service and catering industry for the last seven years, completed his four-year stint at Johnson and Wales of Denver with a Bachelors degree in Food Service Management and a minor in Event Planning. With Filipino, Chinese & French roots in his family bloodline, it was only natural for Tony to demonstrate an interest and exceptional ability in preparing all types of international cuisine.
By taking the wheel from Ms. George, in November of 2010, and creating the new VISION Catering USA!, he followed his desires and a heartfelt mission statement made by both of them&Serving YOU while Serving Others! Their commitment to donating ten percent of each and every event to the clients charity or non-profit of choice is a way of giving back to the community and those less fortunate!
No stranger to success and recognition, Mr. Boyers signature Chai Rooibos Apple Cider won Best Apple Product at the Lakewood Cider Days Festival in 2009 while Chief Mixologist with Wystones World Teas. He launched a catering program for Whole Foods Market and designed over twenty-five original recipes for their new Gelato program in 2007. Tony currently manages his blog mixologytrends.blogspot.com which promotes new and exciting drink recipes AND catersavvy.wordpress.com from Vision Catering, USA where he and Jerri share their expertise, his favorite catering recipes and cooking/catering and event planning tips.
