Frequently Asked Questions for Photography
What primary photographic style do you identify with? Contemporary, Photojournalism, Portraiture
What do your packages include? Albums, Custom Graphic Design, Digital Files, High Resolution Images, Negatives, Prints, Proof CD of All Images, Thank You Cards
Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? I have several packages available with a variety of such options.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? Yes.
Is your media preference film or digital? I only shoot digital.
How many photographers do you work with? The company is run by me and only me :). However, I occasionally have another photographer that shoots with me during a wedding as an added bonus for extra coverage.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Of course! Unless a situation is unavoidable (death in the family, accident, etc.) I will be at your event. If such an event does occur, there will be a photographer with equal shooting style and one that holds the same standards that I do that will be there for you.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? Never! There will never be another event booked the same day as yours. You are my main priority.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Yes. In the event that I cannot be there, there will be a photographer with equal shooting style and one that holds the same standards that I do that will be there for you.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? All Canon.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Always!
Do you charge hourly or full day? Full day. I do this so that you can get the full experience. I will get shots of you getting your hair and make-up done, or getting in your tux, and then later at your reception! If you don't want full day coverage, we can come up with something taht fits your needs.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? No policy
Do you charge for travel? I don't charge for travel within a 2 hour drive for me (Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Louisville, and Dayton areas). Outside of that, travel charges will incur, and I'm also available for destination weddings, and national and international weddings.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 4-6 weeks for entire proof set, 2-4 for your "peek" on the blog :)
In what format are the initial proofs offered? I do not provide physical proofs, instead you get a personal, online gallery to view your proofs at the Twenty Something Studios website.
How long can the client keep the proofs? Since physical proofs are not given, you can view your proofs at your personal, online gallery at the Twenty Something Studios website for up to a year after your wedding date. Here, you can also order prints in a variety of sizes, as well as finishes such as canvas or gallery.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes. However, you will receive a limited copyright release for printing and sharing.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes! You will get the entire day's photos on dvd in digital negative format, as well as a disk of edited ones.
Will images be available for viewing online? Yes! You will have a personal, online gallery at the Twenty Something Studios website for up to a year after your wedding date. Here, if the package you've purchased doesn't include them, you can also order prints in a variety of sizes, as well as finishes such as canvas or gallery.
What kind of albums do you offer? I have a variety of albums and products available within the packages as well as add-ons.
