How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? Our singer moves and works the room, but in a gentle and fun environment. We can energize even the toughest rooms.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? Usually, a meal is provided by the client and the band will normally take their break and/or eat dinner in a designated area separate from the guests. We like to play long sets and normally would take one break in a 3 hour block.
Do you play recorded music during your break? Yes, normally whatever genre is requested by the client
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan? Each member has a sub who knows the band's setlists. Typically, they are musicians playing in other projects waiting for a slot to open with the TopKatZ. Musicianship is of the highest caliber.
What is your overtime rate? 500.00/hour/band
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? It depends on the distance from our home base. Usually more than a 2 hour drive would require us to stay overnight. If it is too far to transport our equipment, (i.e. an event in another state or more than 250 miles) a backline with sound system and lighting system is typically rented. Airfare would also be required in this instance.
What is the required deposit to secure your services? Normally, deposit is 1/3 of the total fee.
