The Pictures band from Austin would love to perform for your wedding. We have been around for aprox 20 years, so have a solid reliable reputation that you can count on to make your Wedding Reception the most memorable. The Pictures Band have performed around the world for the troops and for the President's Inaugural Ball. The band has also done weddings involving such notables as Lance Armstrong, Michael Dell, Roger Staubach, Jerry Jones, Anne Archer and the Dixie Chicks. The Pictures are confident that there is not another band out there with a better resume in this field. We are available to travel anywhere. The band will learn your first and second dances too.

We have four different sized bands to accommodate most venues and budgets. Our five piece band has drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and a male vocalist. Everyone sings in the band. Our six piece band adds either a sax or female vocalist. Our eight piece band adds a trumpet and sax and girl singer to the basic five piece band. The ten piece band adds a trombone and bari sax to the eight piece configuration. By the way, many times we are asked to add the female vocalist because of our demo CD having so many great female tunes. Our male singer actually did most the female songs on that CD, so it is not essential that the female be added.
We have drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals in the five pc band. It is all the essential core members.
The quote is for a standard four hour event.

First,please notice that we have won the brides choice 2010-2011 and have a perfect 5 star rating!!!
We mostly wear Tuxedo, but also wear suits and stage clothes.
Do you offer live sample performances or CDs?
We have many samples on our website w video too. Also, we try to perform locally in public at least once a month.
Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
We dont mind learning a song for you. Generally your first or second dances etc.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
We set up in two hours.
How much space do you usually require?
12x20 to 16x24 is average size of stage based upon differing band sizes.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
We have a DVD of spinning Logo if needed.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have all sorts of lighting, extra sound and even fog for the dance floor if you so desire.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
Yes, we MC and announce any of your needed announcements from your itinerary.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
We can do conga lines with our horns and all sorts of line dances if you ask for it.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We are at the venue for over eight hours in total with the set up and load out, so we appreciate a meal. It can be eaten prior to the event if so desired.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
We do play music on all breaks and even also offer a DJ too.
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?
We have many instrumental options from 5 -10 members in the band, so most can easily be covered.
What is your overtime rate?
We do offer overtime at time and a half like most other businesses.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
We do not charge for travel unless it is over 200 miles away.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We ask for half down deposit to secure your date.
