Description:
The Lighthouse - A private, family owned, wedding venue on the Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, TN. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with the lake in the background making the gazebo a perfect setting for any wedding ceremony! And with two spacious levels to serve as an indoor backup plan, ther is no worry should mother nature prevent use of the waterfront grounds. We can seat 200 on the upper level for a comfortable dinner reception or indoor ceremony while our lower level accomodates 160 - 250. Both floors provide breathtaking views of the lake. The lower level also includes a perfect setting for your dancing and fun! We have a stage, hardwood dance floor, bar, and plenty of room for all the extras like photobooths and mixing and mingling! A newly remodled Bridal Suite is also located on the lower level with direct access to the waterfront ceremony grounds.
Set up of lawn chairs, dining tables/ chairs, chair covers, basic linens, china, caterer, wait-staff and bar services are all included in our rental! Not to mention an abundance of on-site parking. Need a photographer, bakery, or florist? Want to add drapping, uplighting, specialty linens, or a tent? With our beautiful grounds and Gazebo overlooking the calm waters, you are certain to have a gorgeous setting for any style wedding or special event. We even offer a stress free backup plan should the weather not fair well on your special day. Set up for an indoor ceremony can be arranged on either level of the venue for no charge!

We offer two rate tiers - Weddings and Special Events
Do you offer any special services?
Guests are welcomed to use our builtin sound system with their personal iPods/MP3 players to play their music. We also have free WiFi.
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
We can create a custom rehearsal package to go with any wedding packages. See our website for details.
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
All wedding ceremonies includes use of our lakefront grounds, 100 white garden chairs, shepherd hooks, outdoor sound system, Bridal suite and much more!
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
We offer white and black linens, tables, chairs, china, flatware, etc all at no additional charge for each events. Specialty linens, decorative accents, floral designs and so much more are available for rent.

Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
No, however, we do offer a list of local preferred vendors who offer savings when booked through The Lighthouse.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
No, hosts are welcomed to bring in outside musicians, bands, DJ's or The Lighthouse can assist in booking this for them on their behalf. All outside vendors are required to pay a house fee of 10% of their charges to the host.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
The whole building both floors are included for a wedding reception what works well is to have the elegant dinner reception on the upper floor and all move to lower level for the cake cutting and dancing(dance floor on lower level with 5 garage doors that we open weather permitting).
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
No outside alcohol is allowed. We have an ABC Liquor License and must provide all alcohol due to liability. We have a full bar set up and licensed bartenders.

We have plenty of outlets available throughout the venue.
What restrictions (if any) on decorations?
We like to be flexible and work with each couple. We understand that no two weddings are alike and to add your own personal touches. Our policy is as long as it does not damage the venue we will approve it. We do prefer that candles are placed in holders that are taller than the actual candle itself.
What restrictions (if any) on photography?
When booking with The Lighthouse, we include the use of our grounds for for engagement photos, bridal portraits, etc. prior to your wedding day for no additional fee. Should we book a photographer for your wedding day, then there is no additional fees to be paid. If you bring in an outside photographer then he/she is required pay 10% of what they charged you (the client) to The Lighthouse.

DJ's, Bands and all other musicians are welcomed. Our only request is that there is no "blasting" of music.

No permits are needed, as we have this already taken care of.

No, when you book your wedding with The Lighthouse, that day is blocked off as your day.

What is your dress code?
All of our servers and bartenders wear black and white attire.

No, we do not have a coat closet, however, we do have a place for coats to hang.
