The GlenLary Estate, built in 1840, is located in the heart of the Bluegrass. As well as being a magnificent estate, GlenLary is also a working thoroughbred horse farm.
Two historic lodging facilities are surrounded by over 80 acres of rolling bluegrass providing serenity and splendor as the perfect background for your special occasion. The Estate offers several event locations, including indoor and outdoor venues.

The GlenLary Estate is the epitome of a classic antebellum mansion. As soon as the gates open, you are transported into a world of beautiful vistas of green pastures where horses frolic and graze. In addition to the movie quality estate, several barns provide rustic backdrops for classic photos.
How does your venue determine the cost of the space?
We offer several different packages depending on your event needs ranging from strictly outdoor events utilizing only the estate grounds, up to events requiring overnight lodging and use of the Main house or Cabin.
Do you offer any special services?
Yes, we will work with our clients to provide what is needed for their particular event.
Do you offer any special packages for rehearsal dinners?
Yes, we can accommodate tented, open-air or indoor dinners depending on event requirements.
Do you offer additional items for the ceremony?
Indoor or outdoor ceremonies are welcome. Bride and Groom can select their ceremony location from casual to formal depending on their requirements.
Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware?
No, we work with recommended rental vendors in the area.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors?
Currently we partner with a local caterer. Clients are welcome to refer to our recommended vendors for all other needs.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians?
No, clients choose their own musicians, although we do provide recommendations.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion?
Yes.
Can the client provide their own alcohol if desired?
No. All alcohol must be provided through our caterer as they hold the liquor license.
