I think documenting lifes milestones, adventures and sweet moments preserves those memories with a clarity that our minds sometimes cant do on their own. Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? I offer artistic coloring and special techniques to all my photographs.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? I can capture your wedding at any time of the day rain or shine!
Is your media preference film or digital? I shoot all digital now, but for those special request for film that is something you have to ask for!
How many photographers do you work with? I have at my disposal three other photographers just in case you want to cover many angles and if there are special requirements for male for female photographers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? I do guarantee my presence at the actual event, this is in my contract
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? I only book one wedding per day
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? yes I always have a backup for those just in case emergencies.... but really I would have to be on my death bed not to be there, that is how dedicated I am to my brides
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? I bring a huge assortment of lenses and three cameras one for backup just in case. My assistant always carries their own camera as well.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? yes I do I have one back up plus my assistant has one as well
Do you charge hourly or full day? depending on your budget, I can shoot hourly or I have packages for the whole day.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? I can shoot extra hours at $250/ hr
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? Breaks sometimes happen through out the day but we are fully portable and take mini breaks when needed. we do require a meal break for dinner that the client provide.
Do you charge for travel? In the surrounding areas of Ottawa no, but if you are farther we can certainly work something out.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? I typically give teasers within a few days after the wedding, but have the proofs ready within 4 weeks
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Each bride gets a private gallery via www.taylordphotography.com that they can view their proofs and order extra prints. They are able to send their code to family and friends or who they choose.
How long can the client keep the proofs? They are digital proofs and available online for one year
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? yes I do retain copyright of the photos, but you get a personal license with each disk.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? yes
Will images be available for viewing online? yes
What kind of albums do you offer? I offer custom designed flush mount albums, great for coffee tables and are exquisite items for the home decor.
When will the client get the final album? design and proofing usually takes up to 2 months, then two weeks for printing.
