Weddings All of our Wedding Cakes are fresh baked, hand crafted to your specifications. Your cake will have an unforgettable style, taste & design. Wedding cakes are available for pick-up or delivered depending upon your needs. Delivery Charges $20 delivery within Manteca City limits. Outside Manteca will vary depending on destination. ($25.00 per hour + $0.45 per mile) Free Wedding Consultations Every little detail is of the up most importance when planning a wedding. Choosing your wedding cake in one of the major pieces in planning. We offer a free consultation where we can spend a little time going over what is important to you! We will look at various designs and also do some sampling of cake! We invite you to bring in any designs you may have seen that interest you. We do limit the tasting to 3 cake choices and 2 filling choices. Wedding Cake Payment Policy We require a deposit of half the entire balance. The remainder of the balance is to be paid in full two weeks prior to the wedding date. All deposits are Non-Refundable. We here at Sweet Sweets offer to our Wedding Couples upon their first anniversary a free fresh 6 cake as our gift to you. This way there is no need to freeze your top tier and you get to enjoy a fresh cake. We just ask that you call prior to the date, so that we can have it ready for you. FAQ Are there different prices for any cake flavors? No! All of the cake flavors are covered in the per serving price. Who puts the flowers on my cake? If you prefer your florist to that is fine, we do not charge to place flowers we just ask that the flowers be set at the cake table for us to place upon arrival. If flowers are not provided prior to the wedding or are not on location, they will not be placed regardless of the set cake design. What about my topper? Do I bring it to you? In most cases the topper needs to be on location at the wedding venue, I just ask to see it prior to the date to ensure it will fit on cake correctly. We find that the fewer people handling the topper the better. Please!!! Let us know if the cake topper is heavy and need support. If the topper is something we are making here we will bring it with us. If you have any doubts about your toppers suitability, you should bring it by so that we can look at it. What if I have more people coming to my wedding than expected and did not order enough cake? Most people get a final head count two weeks prior to their wedding date. At this time you should double check your servings contracted wedding cake provides. If your guest count is more than your cake serves then you will want to order extra servings. This is a separate cake that is not decorated that is stored in the kitchen at your reception facility when your cake is delivered. This cake will be constructed with the same flavor and filling as your wedding cake. Once cut and plated your guests will not be able to distinguish the displayed cake from the extra servings cake. Please be sure to order the extra servings cakes at least two weeks prior to your reception date. Wedding Cake Pricing Buttercream covered cakes begin at $4/serving Fondant covered cakes begin at $6/serving Cakes wrapped/decorated with Chocolate begin at $8/serving The overall price is based on the type of frosting used, how much detail work will go into the cake design and the number of servings. Example: Say you have 80 guests. A three tiered round cake (serves approx 80-85), finished with Buttercream, with a simple design will be approx $320. ($4 per serving x 80 servings) To be more cost effective for larger weddings it is recommended that you do a smaller display cake and an extra servings cake. Example: $4 x 40 = $160 + 1.50 x 40 = $60 $160 + $60= 220 VS $4 x 80 = $320 Total savings = $100 Favors Hand Decorated Cookies Small (2-3) -$2.00 each Medium (4-5) -$3.00 each Large (5-6 ) - 4.00 each Cookies wrapped in Cello Bag with Curly Ribbon $0.25 extra per cookie. Chocolate or Caramel Apples Dark / Semi-Sweet / White or Caramel (Extra Charge may apply for Special Writing) Plain (drizzle) - $4.00 each With Sprinkles - $4.25 each With Nuts or Cookie Crumbs - $4.50 each Apples wrapped in Cello Bags with Curly Ribbon $0.25 extra per apple. Payment We accept cash or charge, checks taken on orders 2 weeks out or longer. 1/2 of the total is due upon order remainder is due when order is picked up. $25.00 fee on any returned check. No cash refunds (credit towards next cake order only)
