Description: String quartets, trios, viola & guitar duet or ensembles, let String Serenade bring together the unique blend of beautiful music for your wedding ceremony, reception, corporate function, private party and all other special occasions. String Serenades repertoire, ranging from Bach to the Beatles, will make your event a memorable one. Rich Mancini, a native New Yorker, has performed music for over 40 years. Incorporating guitar, piano and vocals, he maintains his passion for music on a full-time basis. Performing throughout the Phoenix Valley allows him to reach many diverse audiences. Always striving for musical diversity, he now adds String Serenade to his repertoire. RichMancini.com. Jennifer DeWitt is a classically trained violist and has been playing music since 1970. Originally trained in Connecticut and New York, she has brought with her to the valley a passion for all styles of music. She currently plays with the Chandler Symphony, Musica Novas Fine Arts String Ensemble, various chamber groups and currently studies with Phoenix Symphony violist Greg Falkenstein. How much time do you usually need for setup? 30 minutes or more

Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? we do have signs that are used for promotional purposes

What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? sound systems and special lighting, and montage services avail. upon request

Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs? at times we do act as an emcee, make announcements, etc

How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? Mancini Entertainment and String Serenade have had years of experience reading a crowd!

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? we generally do not take a break unless we are booked for 3+ hours..

Do you play recorded music during your break? We have the ability to upon request

If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan? With a core group of 12+ string players, two guitarists, a solo harpist, two trumpeters, several pianists and an accordianist we are able to always have a backup plan!

What is your overtime rate? $50 per musician per hour for overtime

Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? we do charge for travel if we are outside of the Phoenix Valley boundaries

What is the required deposit to secure your services? a 50% deposit secures the musicians for your event
