Do you have liability insurance?
Describe your DJ style:
We have a lot of young energetic DJ's. The DJ's we have also are very well versed in yesterday and today's music and will use the crowd to gauge how to keep the night going
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
There is no limit but keep in mind a traditional wedding reception has enough time for 3-4 hours worth of dance music. Also it is really recommended to let the DJ feel out the crowd to keep the night going.
What is your usual attire?
Tuxedo or suit
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Absolutely not! We feel that they are hiring us to provide a service and that is without a doubt part of our service to our couples

We have 5 other DJ's that work for Soundwave exclusively
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
The minimum hourly package starts at 4 Hours
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
We schedule couples to come out to see live performances all the time. Because of the range of services we offer we can bring you to an event that is close to what you want so you can see ahead of time.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Yes and it's part of our planning process
Do you bring your own equipment?
If you have a DJ company that answers no here....RUN!!
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have a lot of options for lighting.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We usually need an hour and a half before the party starts. We do request a table from the venue or client usually but can provide one if stated ahead of time
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
We use a tablecloth with our logo at the very most. We do not use banners or signs
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
We emcee the event as a whole which would include all the announcements for all the special events throughout the night and certain interactions with the crowd
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
We can't give away all our secrets
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Our DJ's do not take breaks at all. Your service is continuous from the time that the party starts. As far as meals go it is up to the client completely
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
We guarantee we are available upon the booking
What is your overtime rate?
$75 per hour
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
25% of the total service fee

How many photographers do you work with?
We use a team of photographers. Depending on the requirements of the couple and what they want out of their pictures we can have one or multiple photographers for their wedding.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
Yes absolutely. We guarantee service for your day on all our services
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
Yes. We have multiple photographers and DJ's so we book multiple events per weekend
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Our photographers bring a main camera and a series of different lenses for different shots. We also carry a backup camera in case of emergency
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
This is one of the greatest things about our service is that we are on no time limit. We do not leave until the wedding is over.

Our couples have full rights to all of the pictures so they keep them all.
Will images be available for viewing online?
The images are uploaded to our site and locked until permission by the Bride and Groom to open them for their guests
