Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: My style is Elegant But Fun, my goal is to provide the best services possible and provide the services you wish... in small words making your dream wedding come true.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested? Although I suggest to provide the Top 25 Most Wanted Songs, I do recommend to also think about what your guests like, to make sure they stay involved on the Dance Floor.
What is your usual attire? A Black Suit or Dark Suit, always professional.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? I have a very extensive library, at most times I already have the songs requested, if it's an out of print, ethnic song or special mix you may be required to provide it.
How many other DJs do you work with? 1 DJ only, but network with several others in case an emergency arises, It's extremely important to always have a backup, it's good work ethics.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? For a Wedding the minimum is 4 Hours, there will be special occasions such as Weekday Weddings in which the minimum could be 2-3hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? Most definitely and recommended.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? I'm Trilingual, Portuguese/Spanish and English... But not only that, I embrace other cultures and have performed a high amount of Asian related weddings, understand the Traditions involved in Asian, Indian, Spanish, Portuguese, Greek, Etc... and carry music from most Ethnic Backgrounds in the Bay Area.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list? Yes and it's recommended.
Do you bring your own equipment? Yes we own every single piece of high grade professional equipment that we carry.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? We offer many great and exciting features, such as: Slideshows, Uplighting, Monogram Projection, Dancing Under The Stars, Live Camera Feed among many others.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? Depending on the situation, when a ceremony is involved at least 2 hours prior to your event.
Do you have any extra space requirements? Our system is compact by a 10'x10' is usually the normal. We can fit our system in small compact spaces.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? No, I think it's not professional to do so, our setup and demeanor is Elegant, at no moment will the company name will be Announced or Displayed in any way. Business cards are available but only upon request of the guests.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? Emcee services are provided with all Weddings, by my style is to make sure everyone knows what is happening such as formal events (Grand Entrance, First Dance, Cake Cutting, Etc...)
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? There are different things that can be done to avoid that type of situation and it's all discussed during the planning process.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? I do not require a meal, it's solely at the discretion of the client to provide a meal.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? No, I only book 1 event per day. Each wedding takes anywhere from 8-14 hours, from travel, setup, event and breakdown.
