How I can enhance your wedding:
Want something different and unique for your wedding reception? How about something new as well as traditional? I am a silhouette artist. At your wedding reception or event, I offer each guest a chance to have their silhouette portrait cut. I just look at their profile and cut out of black paper with very sharp sissors, no pre-drawing involved. Each silhouette portrait only takes under two minutes to complete. I then mount the silhouette on a 5x7 illustration board backing. Your guest will be able to take home their profile silhouette portrait as a special keepsake of your wedding day. I also can offer the option of adding your guest's name in Calligraphy at the top of the silhouette to make it extra special. I can also do silhouette portraits of each member of the wedding party, as well as the bride and groom.
A special Gift for you:
Each time I cut a silhouette portrait I cut an extra copy, which I will then mount into a scapbook. Each guest will sign his or her silhouette. I put a copy of the portraits of the bride and groom in the front of the book, with their names in calligraphy, and you will be able to take this specialized complementary silhouette guestbook home as a special memento of your day.
Today, silhouette portraits are used to commemorate many different events, and are often given as gifts. Using just a pair of scissors and black paper, I can hand-cut an accurate likeness of your wedding guests, your friends and family. It only takes a few minutes to produce an elegant shadow portrait of any persons profile, and also serves as a unique entertainment for your reception!
