Description: About Sealed with a Kiss Once upon a time there was a little girl who didnt play with Barbies - preferring to design their clothes. She always had her own sense of style. She grew up seeing her parents creations - chiffon paisley, and ostrich feathered dresses from her Mother, exquisite and extravagant wall coverings for the rich and famous from her Father. Since her Mother made all her daughters clothes, she soon learned to sew and create her own designs. After qualifying with The City & Guilds of London, Susan opened her business in couture ladies clothing. With much experience, and many wedding gowns behind her, she chose to concentrate on bridal. Realizing that no one designer could satisfy every brides needs, the new store opened with a mix of designers and moved premises several times before resting in the present location on Charlottesvilles Downtown Mall. How do we choose our collections? Susans eye for design and quality play an enormous part in choosing the collections that make it to the store. We often watch a designer for a while - we need to see cutting-edge design, season after season. Does it fulfill what our brides are looking for? Is the majority of their collection made up of good design? Is the quality of fabric and workmanship worth the price of the gown? Do they have excellent customer service? Susan watches the designer fashion shows, examines, and picks out the gowns. Many months go by, and the fun continues when we start receiving boxes of new gowns. Finally, we get to see our brides trying on the designs we selected, and hopefully, we see some their wedding photos, too! Find your own unique style! At Sealed with a Kiss Bridal, you are an integral part of the design of your dress. High quality fabric and beautiful finishing are our hallmark.
