Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: I am a DJ / Entertainer / Master of Ceremonies who will orchestrate your evening from beginning to end as your host. I step out when it's needed to create the focus for the things that we have planned, and then step back as you and your guests enjoy the spotlight. With over thirty years of entertainment experience, I am able to adjust my performance according to your personal taste and style. I love what I do, and always have a big smile for you and your guests!
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested? There really is no limit to the amount of music that you request. In addition, if you request music that is not currently in my music library, I will get it for you at no extra charge! Part of our consultation time is spent discussing your favorite music, along with the music that you believe your friends, family, and guests will enjoy the most. A large part of my job as your professional DJ is to give you my musical advice and suggestions for an enjoyable evening. Some clients are really hands on, some less so, and my advice and suggestions are always an outgrowth of the conversations that we have together. After all, the common goal of both my client and myself is to create that perfect mix of music that is part of a perfect evening.
What is your usual attire? My usual attire is a tuxedo. If my client wishes that I wear something other than a tuxedo, I'm happy to oblige.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? No. If you would like music that I don't currently have, I will get it for you at no extra charge.
How many other DJs do you work with? I am currently a one man operation.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? The minimum charge is for a four hour event.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? I always look forward to the opportunity of meeting potential clients to talk about their celebration and what I have to offer them.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? I specialize in people, and have catered to many different ethnicities and nationalities.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list? Absolutely. I encourage this.
Do you bring your own equipment? Yes I do. The quality of my equipment, along with the specific combination of all of the different components that I use is a large part of the service that I offer. I am a professional, and these are my tools.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? I provide excellent sound and lights for all of my events.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? I generally give myself at least two hours to set up for an event. It is important that I am ready to perform when your first guest walks in the door, and this is the determining factor when deciding on my arrival time. Also, the package you have chosen, how much equipment I am using, and what you require all figure into the set up time. I do not require a table, as I provide my own as part of my unique set up.
Do you have any extra space requirements? No I do not. My equipment is designed to be able to pack lots of capabilities into the smallest possible area.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? If you are talking about signs or banners with my company name on them, no I do not. Weddings and private events are all about my clients, so I don't consider signs and banners to be appropriate.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? Performing as your emcee is a large part of the service that I offer to my clients. I have years of experience as an entertainer, and gauge my performance to fit your particular event. Everything that I do is geared to providing you with personalized service.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? I have years of experience as an entertainer, musician, master of ceremonies, etc. We plan your event to flow in such a way that your guests are always having a wonderful evening. This is never a problem.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? There are no "breaks" at an event such as this. The music never stops, and the momentum builds until the end of the evening.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks? There are no breaks in the music.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?   There is a community of DJ's in the area, and I am friends, and work with the very best in my area. If disaster should befall me, I would provide you with the services of another qualified DJ Entertainment professional. Thanks to my comprehensive planning system, my talented replacement would be well informed of every aspect and detail of your wedding celebration.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? No, I do not.
What is your overtime rate? Overtime is availeable at the rate of 75.00 per 1/2 hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? When I am performing beyond a 90 mile radius from Myrtle Beach, the is an additional charge of $50.00 plus a hotel room.
What is the required deposit to secure your services? I require a retainer of 50% to secure the contract for my services.
