Roen Photography has been in business since June of 2010. We typically serve the Grand Forks area but we will occasionally travel longer distances.
I, Miranda Roen, have lived in Grand Forks since birth. I graduated in December of 2010 with a degree in Anthropology. Injuries that I received in a car accident in January of 2011 left me unable to pursue my career goals so I worked hard to get my photography business off the ground.
I was excited to have some of my work displayed and sold at the "World's Smallest Gallery" at the Urban Stampede in February/March of 2011. Most of the images sold and this motivated me to keep going! In the spring of 2012 I learned that I was a winner of the Grand Cities Emerging Artist Art Fest Scholarship. Two of my prints were also published in a start-up magazine at that time.
In my free time I love to travel and have had the opportunity to visit Rome, Jerusalem, and many places in Ireland and Belize.
My son and I currently reside in our home in Grand Forks.
