The ceremony is the heart and soul of the day and will set the tone of your marriage. Why should your ceremony be dictated to you any more than your dress or the food at your reception? Rev. Judith offers you a simple and fun way to customize EVERY element of your ceremony from the opening greeting to the final pronouncement. She is truly the Officiant for the discerning couple who VALUE their ceremony. After all, don't you DESERVE more than a generic ceremony?
When you work with Rev. Judith, YOU create a completely unique ceremony which bridges the old traditions with the modern contemporary in what she calls re-traditionalizing. When you have ownership, YOU are in control.
What could be more fun than actually "Tying the Knot" on your wedding day? Many of Rev. Judith's couples want a ceremony that is unique and different, so they select a Handfasting. (See the Handfasting Tab on Website)
Remember, cheaper isn't always better. A good price on a bad professional is NO DEAL!

ABOUT: Rev. Judith received her Masters of Divinity (M.Div.) in 1999, with an emphasis in Spirituality. She was ordained in 2005, and has spent many years as a health care chaplain in both the nursing home setting and with Hospice. Washington D.C. Certificate of Authorization to Perform Marriages on file, and provided upon request. She is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Rev. Judith is married for more than 20 years and has two grown children and one grandchild.

Can you accommodate the hearing impaired?
Yes
Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site?
Yes
What is your attire for the ceremony?
I do not robe outside a religious/church setting, however I do wear a stole.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows?
All of my ceremonies are customized to the couple, and I encourage creativity in all areas of the ceremony.
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired?
Yes
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose?
No. Instead I offer a guide with MANY readings, poetry, Scriptures, etc. from which the couple may choose any, several or none at all.
How long are your ceremonies?
Since the couple customizes their ceremony, the length is determined by each of the couples.
Do you require that premarital counseling be done?
Require? NO!
But I do offer it for those who wish.
