Yes
Describe your DJ style:
We custom tailor our services to reflect your personality and taste. Whether it's formal and conservative or heating things up on the dancefloor to the early morning hours, you have come to the right place!
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
Certainly not. Our goal is total customer satisfaction.
What is your usual attire?
It all depends on the client we are working with. For formal affairs, a 3 piece suit can be worn and for more casual events, a button down shirt and tie.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
No. It is our job as professional entertainers to have the music that the customer requests.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
We have a 4 hour minimum for our events.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely! The most important factor of finding a disc jockey is to see if they will be the right fit for you.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
What is not played is equally important as the music you want to hear. We play the music that reflects your personality and taste.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. All of our equipment is owned and operated by Pryme Tyme Entertainment staff.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We offer a variety of lighting effects. Whether you are looking for the elegance and beauty of architectural uplighting or to turn your reception into a NYC nightclub, we can provide the perfect ambiance for your special day.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We prefer to arrive at the venue at least 2 hours prior to start time for a basic setup. If more is required we will communicate with you and the venue to coordinate what is necessary.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
We request that customer provides dj with 12 wide x 6 deep (feet) area within 25 feet of four 110-volt (3 prong grounded) outlets
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
We do not use signage at weddings. We do carry business cards for people who may be interested in our service.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
No two weddings are the same. We interact as much or as little as the client requests.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
We cater to the masses. We may screen the audience during dinner to get requests and suggestions to keep the dancefloor filled. Crowd participation in mixers and line dances is also a way to gain the interest of a wide audience.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
We do not take breaks. Our job as your entertainer is to guide the flow of your reception. Although appreciated, the client is not obligated to provide a meal.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
We do not take breaks.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
Since 1995, we have NEVER missed an event. However, just in case, we work with a network of DJs who can be called should an emergency take place.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Never. When you book with Pryme Tyme, we clear our schedule for the day giving you our full dedication.
What is your overtime rate?
Our overtime rate is $150 per hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Travel, & Setup charges are included in the total price of the service.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
A 25% deposit is required to reserve a date. The balance is required 1 week prior to the event.

My husband and I were very direct about only wanting music (no up-ligting, etc) and Aaron did not push us into anything even though that was our experience with other DJ's. There was no time in the night that the dance floor wasn't filled - he played many songs that we had requested and filled in with songs that really fit our taste. We had a special dance for our wedding party and for ourselves that he helped to organize and it was a big hit! What most impressed us about Aaron was that he came to our head table and checked in on us more often than our maitre'd. He asked us if there was anything that we need - and if we were feeling comfortable, etc. He must have checked in on us 2 or 3 times! He had been very attentive leading up to the wedding as well - checking in during the last two weeks to make sure we were all set. We thought that we got GREAT value for our money. Why didn't we give him a 5 out of 5? Some guests said that they didn't always hear his announcements for the cake cutting or events like that...but we felt that was more of a "attention fault" on our guests than on the DJ. We would hire him again and again for our family event!
