Describe your DJ style:
Our 8 DJs have different talents such as live vocals, karaoke and instrumentalists. They provide fun for all of your guests while maintaining class and good taste.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
We take requests, accept a playlist and carry a variety of music. We paly what you want to hear.
What is your usual attire?
For a wedding reception we always wear a tuxedo unless the client requests other respectable attire.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
Our DJ'sare proud to carry 98% of the music requested. Our clients are free to provide personal music to the DJ if they wish.
How many other DJs do you work with?
One experienced DJ per event. We also have a couple of teams that work together as DJ & Emcee.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
For a wedding reception we offer an Unlimited Reception, a 4 hour reception and special pricing on receptions that conclude before 4pm. All other events have a 3 hour minimum.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Yes. The DJ is happy to meet at no obligation to go over our services in detail and answer any question you may have.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
We provide Latin Music as well as Greek.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Absolutely. We want to play what you want to hear at your reception or event
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. The DJ's provide all equipment. The only requirement is power.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We provide Club Dance Floor Lighting and Karaoke at no charge for events.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
The time is according to how much equipment is required. Usually from 40 minutes to an hour and a half.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
Not usually. Our DJ's have been known to set up in some very small areas.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
ProsOnly Entertainment's policy is that banners during a wedding reception are are not used.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Our DJ is the Emcee and does not talk unless it is nessesary. The DJ makes all announcements and introduces the wedding party.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Our experienced DJ's have some tricks to get guests involved. Reading the crowd is very important. You have to change the music to fit the guests mood.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
Our DJ's provide music for the entire event. A meal is not required but accepted if offered.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
Yes. Even if the DJ has to step away to coordinate with a photographer or caterer music is always playing.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
An experienced, professional DJ would replace the DJ if something beyond their control occurs.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
We usually can only perform one reception per day unless it is a small reception held very early in the day.
What is your overtime rate?
For a 4 hour reception if you need the DJ past 4 hours we charge $100.00 per hour, however our Unlimited Reception is One Flat Fee with No Time Limit which charges no overtime charges.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
All of our quotes include travel and are based on mileage. It varies per location of the event. The fee for a event in Greenville is less than one in Charleston.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
For wedding receptions the retainer is $125.00.
