Orange Krush is Asheville North Carolina's finest party band!
This talented 6 piece band is composed of two fantastic female and male vocalists and four dynamic musician/vocalists. Having both male and female singers plus bass, drums, keys, and guitar allows Orange Krush to put on a high energy performance covering every musical style. Orange Krush creates a highly engaging and interactive experience. We pride ourselves on our ability to 'read' our audience and adjust our playlist in order to keep everyone dancing and having fun. From Cocktail Jazz to Dinner Swing, Motown to Disco, 80's to Today, Orange Krush can enhance every part of your event and entertain every guest in the room. You can relax and enjoy your wedding as all the details will be professionally handled. We will work with you beforehand to create an effective flow for your event that will help insure its success.
Full Service Band
We are able to provide you not only with high energy dance music, but offer ceremonial and cocktail music as well. Our female vocalist, Joanna, is also an accomplished flute player. We are extremely lucky to have a classically trained pianist and guitar player. Together they make a wonderful trio.

We are happy to learn new songs.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
Typical we need 2 hours to setup and sound check.
How much space do you usually require?
A 16 x 16, 20 x 12, or 20 x 16 stage, riser or space is needed for the core band.
A 12 x 32, 12 x 28, 12 x 24, or 16 x 32 stage, riser or space is needed when a horn section is added.
Other size and space options are feasible, but must be discussed prior to performance.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have 2 lighting trees with LED lights and 2 effect lights for the dance floor.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
We are happy to emcee the event and have wireless mics available for toasts.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
We are a high energy band and it is rare for the dance to be empty when we play.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
For a 4 hour reception we usually take 2-3 10 min. breaks. We do require hot meals for the band.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
Yes
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?
While this is rare we do have substitute musicians that we can use.
What is your overtime rate?
Overtime is $300 per half hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Travel expenses and hotel rooms (if needed) are included in our quote.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
Our deposit is usually $1000
