Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Describe your DJ style:
I can meet the needs of the bride and groom. I do a free consultation to discuss the event details and go over what needs to be done and when.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
There is not. I carry a large library of music so request on the fly can be made.
What is your usual attire?
Usual dress is slacks and button up shirt.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
I do not. I only ask that they verify the name of the song and who it is by and then I will purchase it to add to my library.
How many other DJs do you work with?
Just myself.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
2 Hours
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely!
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
I do not.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Anything for the client!
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yep.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have lights that we can set up that are part of the DJ services. However, we do have other lighting systems for extra cost.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
I need a minimum of 45 minutes to set up but I prefer to show up earlier than that to make sure that I have ample time to make sure I'm in place and everything is working well before the event starts.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
I always like to have a minimum area of 7 ft x 25 ft to work with. However, I can make just about anything work.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
I do and it's my company name and contact info.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
I prefer to do the emceeing for the event to make sure that it flows well. However, just remember that the emcee services is a large portion of what you are paying for when hiring my DJ services
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
This is all covered in the consultation.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
I do ask that a meal is provided during the event as if I were a guest. I do not take breaks.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?

What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
I have other DJ's to recommend that hold the same values and customer service as I do.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
I do not. I dedicate that day to the special people who are making that day perfect.
What is your overtime rate?
$100 per hour and a sitting fee of $25 per hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Yes, $0.70 per mile outside of 75 mile radious
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
50% non-refundable retainers fee.
