Description:
Nelda Etheredge has performed in the San Antonio area since
1982 and provides a variety of classical, popular, celtic and
sacred music. She performs at weddings, parties, banquets,
dinners, Christmas parties, conventions, fashion shows, grand openings,
church services, memorial services and Masses.
She performs on both pedal harp and celtic harp.
She also teaches both pedal and celtic harp.
Although usually engaged as a solo artist,
Ms. Etheredge can provide a flutist for a harp/flute duo
or a violinist for a harp/violin duo.
Ms. Etheredge is President of the American Harp Society San Antonio Chapter
and a member of The International Folk Harpers Society.
Additionally, she is a former orchestra personnel manager
of the San Antonio Symphony.
Weddings: Music for the wedding ceremony includes 20 minutes of prelude music while guest are being seated, three processionals for bride, bridesmaids and mothers, music for unity candle, offertory, communion and recessional.
Receptions: Music for this occasion is usually a mix of easy listening, light classics and love songs from movies and Broadway shows. Celtic, Spanish and Renaissance music may be requested.
