Services: Videography
Description: Many brides choose not to hire a videographer. Photos are great, it's all we need, they say. Weeks go by, months go by and you start to forget what was said that day. You forget the tremble in your voice as you devote your entire lives to each other. You forget the music that was played, the laughter and dancing at your reception. There are pictures, sure. But pictures can't capture what was said, what was played, or the emotions that were felt. NT Studios is about re-viving those moments in your mind as you playback your wedding film. So sit back, click play, and re-live your special day with us. www.nicktimblin.com

Frequently Asked Questions for Videography
What primary style do you identify with? Cinematic, Documentary, Storytelling
What do your packages include? Ceremony, Edited Video, High Definition Video, Multiple Cameras, Multiple Videographers, Online Highlight Films, Pre-Ceremony, Reception
What formats can the final video be in? Blu-Ray, DVD
Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Are you a commercial studio or a home-based business? We are based out of our own homes. We are glad it allows us to maintain reasonable prices without the overhead that other companies might have!
Do you offer demo DVDs for potential clients to look at? We have samples of our highlight videos online for easy viewing.
Describe any special editing services you offer: We edit our weddings with the latest version of Final Cut Pro X which is professional caliber video software. We do some color correction and occasionally some black and white, depending on the clients preferences. We try to keep our videos clean and modern, without the cheesy "special effects" added in some videos you might have seen.
Do you have lighting equipment to accommodate a more dimly-lit event? We do possess professional lighting equipment that might be necessary for us to capture your wedding in the best way possible. We are always un-intrusive. With the advancements in today's software, we are also able to brighten dimly lit scenes in post production without losing quality.
How many videographers do you work with? Nick Timblin is the owner and main videographer of NT Studios. He has a Bachelor's of Arts in Communication Arts and spent time in college learning not only videography, but photography as well. He shoots video in the way a Photographer would capture moments. When you hire our company, he is the one that shows up to film your event. All of our wedding packages include multiple videographers. Nick works with several professional videographers in the area depending on the date and time. While a young company together, they are all accomplished and have weddings under their belt.
Does the client get to meet the videographers before the event? Absolutely! All of our packages include at least one face-to-face consultation prior to your wedding. In situations where we are able, we try to have an initial consultation and then another close to your wedding date to finalize some specific shots you may have in mind as well as timelines for everything.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? The contract that we sign with you is your guarantee that we will be at your event, on time, as promised.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? Due to the nature of the wedding business, it is possible for our company to book more than 1 wedding per weekend, but NEVER more than 1 on the same day. We devote our entire day to your wedding and make sure we capture every special moment. In the event you have an extended wedding (destination wedding, etc), we would be sure to block off the entire weekend.
Do you have a replacement videographer in case you become unavailable on the event day? In the VERY unlikely event that we are unable to make it due to bodily harm, hospitalized sickness, or death in the family, we have several videographers readily available to contact and it would be our responsibility to find our replacement. This has never happened to us before, but we are prepared.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? We always utilize up-to-date professional equipment. We bring cameras, batteries, cards, lights, tripods, sliders, etc. Our cameras shoot full HD 1080p with high bit rates to ensure the maximum amount of detail. We constantly re-invest back into the business to make certain we have all the equipment we need.
Do you bring backup equipment to the event in case of malfunction? We do bring back ups of each piece of equipment to every event. All of our equipment goes through routine maintenance testing and cleanings to ensure perfect working order.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We strive to work pretty much nonstop throughout the day and especially through the ceremony and reception. In a 12 hour day, we may take a few breaks but strategically and one at a time so we always make sure there is at least 1 camera filming and not missing a thing. We ask that a meal is provided however, in my experiences, there have been times we just grabbed a snack from our backpacks and kept on working.
Do you charge overtime? We do have rates for overtime. Overtime would be anytime we are asked to stay before or after the contracted time. Please inquire about these rates if you think you may need us longer than the contracted time.
Do you give access to your raw footage? We will provide you with your edited wedding video including the complete ceremony and edited sections of the reception as well as the getting ready. The rest of the footage is not given to the client unless we reach a special agreement.
Is the client involved in the editing process? If so, how much input does the client have in editing? No. The editing is intensive and time consuming. It would honestly drive you crazy to watch us do it! We sometimes wonder how we get it all done in the 6-8 week time frame! That said, we encourage your input on music, which is a big part of what we use in the final version of your Wedding Film.
How long does it take for the client to get the final video? For our highlight films, which are generally a single song, we will have complete within 2 weeks of your wedding. Its important to us to give you something you can immediately relive as soon as you're back from your honeymoon and getting back into "life". Your complete wedding film will be completed within 6-8 weeks.
