Planning your wedding begins months in advance and were there from the start to help you fulfill your dreams. Momentum Bandleader Larry Eckerling will work with you to develop the music you and your guests want to hear. We customize musical arrangements for special requests, making every party unique and unmatched! We work with our clients to develop personalized songlists for every event.
Momentum Talent Group and the Momentum Band understand the special nuances required of each moment for your wedding ceremony and reception. Your ceremony music will need to set the very first mood as your guests wait for the ceremony to begin, and then accompany the processional, ceremony and recessional. While Momentum Band provides high energy dance music, different moods and levels are required for dinner music, cocktail hour and numerous other moments. The Momentum Band will seamlessly weave in and out of these moments, resulting in the perfect party.

Are you willing to learn songs that you do not currently know?
Absolutely! We routinely do this for virtually every wedding we play.
How much time do you usually need for setup?
Minimum of 1 hour.
How much space do you usually require?
"Comfortable" is 12X24, though minimum is 10X22
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
We have our "logo" on our bandstands. It is not too big, and is "just right".
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We have standard lighting for the stage. We also offer lighting upgrades, including "smart lighting" which pulses with the music, etc.
Do you usually emcee the event, or talk between songs?
I always emcee the reception. We usually make quick transitions from song to song, and I'm happy to talk between songs, but only when necessary.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
The first thing you do is pick the right song in the first place. That will get your crowd motivated! But singers with wireless mics go out into the audience as necessary and get your guests going!
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you need a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
The Musicians Union REQUIRES periodic breaks, unless Continuous Music packages are purchased. This is most definitely available! It is usual and customary for meals to be provided to sound engineers and musicians that start early...for ceremony, or cocktails. Musicians that have time to eat before the start of the engagement do not need meals. It's not required, but it is appreciated.
Do you play recorded music during your break?
Absolutely!
If one or more of the band members is unable to attend, what is your backup plan?
We have a huge pool of the best performers on every instrument available. This is never a problem.
What is your overtime rate?
Too many variables to discuss here. Call Larry for pricing information!
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
Only for out-of-town engagements. Charges vary according to distance, length of travel time, and whether an overnight stay would be required. Ask Larry for details.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
We ask for an initial deposit to be determined at contract signing, 50% three months before the engagement, and final balance at the conclusion of the engagement.
