This is your day... what you decide is what I will do. Your ceremony Wedding or Vow Renewal I am very creative and playful so laughter between us will be very common. Each wedding is unique and different in so many ways. I will begin sending many many ideas that I have created for a variety of ceremonies. My reviews share just a glimmer of how fun my weddings are and what I put of myself into them. I love it ! Also included are many additional segments : Sand ceremonies, Unity candle, Wine ceremonies the selections go on and on. I want you to remember my words "YOUR DAY YOUR WAY" Any ideas you have discovered or would like me to research I shall. I will send many suggestions via email and phone conversations for you to take your time and examine. We together make each word each moment memorable. My main comment to all my couples is.. Lets have fun Everything will be perfect I will put all I am into this moment for you. At the rehearsal I organize the bridal party and positioning of everyone. We will "basically" walk through the ceremony with all involved. Why? ~ To make this perfect for you.. I want you to put your thoughts on just smiling and on your wedding day. It is what I do best .. "make you smile" Again congratulations to you both for the upcoming journey you have decided to make. After the ceremony I will require your license at the rehearsal and your designated two people to witness The paperwork, I will send to the clerks office and provide you with a copy of it for your memory book. ********* My fee is very reasonable for the rehearsal the ceremony and all the hours of preparation. A nonrefundable deposit of $75 is required to put your wedding in my wedding journal. I travel within a 40 mile radius of Penn Yan, New York although I will travel further to be with you, with no additional charge for my service. "For further distance " This is what is done. New York State Weddings: The bride and groom provide me with a safe room to stay in the night before the wedding at their expense. The one night or two night stay if needed. Would be $100 per night. Most motels and hotels are much more than this but I pay the rest, so I can be with you both.. This is paid with the deposit so I can make reservations for the night of the rehearsal using my credit card. This allows my presence for the rehearsal and the day of your wedding with no concern of traveling a long way. In certain circumstances due to wedding being later in the day a late checkout will be needed. This is necessary for my having a place to get dressed before your wedding ceremony. My presence will be at the wedding site one hour prior to the ceremony. Out of state weddings Accommodations as above, and flight paid for by couple. I travel to Wilmington NC twice a year. If you have a wedding at the time I am visiting flight expense will not be necessary. Nor will accomadations. All other areas I am licensed to perform ceremonies all states but South Dakota. They have special requirements for marriages... There are a few that require you to be a resident of their state. I will be with anyone and distance will not keep me if all things are obtained.. ********** I know how special this day is for you and it is an honor for me to be with you Feel free to call or write with any questions. Are you willing to perform a ceremony at a non-religious site? I will perform your wedding ceremony where ever you choose.
Are you flexible in the wording used throughout the ceremony, including the vows? I will create your ceremony with the selections I provide for you. From the beginning to the completion you are very involved in this process. I spend hours being as creative as I can. As an author I understand the essence of words. We all together will create the most amazing ceremony that you will love, and all those who attend will as well.. Yes, I truly must admit I have been known to make grown men shed a tear or two.. How fun that is...
Do you allow the couple to write their own vows, if desired? Of course if they chose to. Most times they ask if I can help.. I do They can read them from a paper at the ceremony. Or occasionally I will read them and they each will repeat after me. There is no right or wrong in this. I am here to make you smile not be worried over this. We will discuss it to your satisfaction.
Do you have a list of readings pre-selected, from which the couple must choose? I have everything they need for their selections.
How long are your ceremonies? They vary with your selections..
Do you require that premarital counseling be done? No I do not.. I always like to meet with the couple at the beginning. This way we know each other, with a more in depth connection than just talking on the phone.
Are you willing to perform pre-ceremony rehearsals? Yes of course..
Do you supply a sound system? I do not..
