M&T Events is a Mother and Daughter business. Martina has a degree in Interior Design. She was also born and raised in Germany; therefore, all of her cakes and design ideas incorporate an exquisite, European flare.
Tiffanys passion is planning and Culinary Desserts. Her art of creative baking and the inspiration of planning events makes us a unique power team. We have planned events, coordinated events and baked cakes and cup cakes throughout the years for many family members and close friends. The experience we have gained from those years has inspired us to start our own business.

We price per slice. We do not charge for tiers or layers or extra material used to build the cake. There is a $125 decoration fee for life like Sugar flowers, that can be used as keepsake for many years.

Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
Everything we do is custom and one of a kind unless the customer like to recreated from a previous design.
What (if any) special ingredients, such as fresh fruits or farm-fresh butter, do you use in your cakes?
All our ingredients are fresh and never frozen. We believe of using only pure kosher products. It just makes a better tasting cake.
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
I come from a family with a long history of bakers and Culinary experiences. When I see some of the comments that bakers make there cake the day of the event, I'm in disbelieve. It take the cake a full day to cool. That way the cake does not fall apart when cutting it imperfect slices. Than it takes a day of filling,assembling,decorating and delivering it. A good structured and great wedding cake always takes at least 2 days. One day of baking it and one day of assembling it.

Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
Absolutely
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
We have a variety of Cake stands from Gold plated to silver and custom stands. Standard stands rent for $25 and a deposit check of $125 that will not be cashed and returned to you, unless the stand is not returned to us within 3 days after the event. Special return arrangements can be made.
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
Our delivery/setup fee is $35 within 30 miles in the DC,MD and VA area.
