I once saw a quote that said bad photography is always an expensive mistake. This is so true.
No matter what you spend, if you don't love your pictures, it's a mistake.
I love telling and hearing stories. Stories give me a glimpse into the past, future or of things that could be. Stories get my creativity running wild and allow me to show one of the most important days in two peoples lives. Being able to tell your story through my lens is both a privilege and a pleasure. My clients love being able to go back and look at their wedding photos and reminisce about that special day.
When we meet for the first time I will ask questions so that we get to know each other, also so that I get to know more about you and your style. Remember this day is about you! I can't wait to tell your story!

Do you have liability insurance?
Yes
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations?
yes, every wedding and session that I shoot has different outside and inside lighting.
Is your media preference film or digital?
digital.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event?
yes. every event that I book, I am the photographer.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend?
no. I like to set aside one weekend per wedding.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
I shoot all canon equipment. And I bring a second camera for backup along with extra batteries.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
yes.
Do you charge hourly or full day?
I have packages for full day photography and an hourly rate for those that don't necessarily need the whole day. And, if none of that suits your needs we can customize your package!
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours?
Yes, since my clients tell me how long they need me for there is no extra charge for weddings.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
If I am working more than 6 hours I require a meal break. Although I do not require a meal, it is best to provide one. If one is not provided I may miss important speeches and other events while I am away.
Do you charge for travel?
Yes. I charge $100 travel fee for anything more than 75 miles away and the hotel costs if the venue is more than 2.5 hours away from my home.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
typically 2-3 weeks after your wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered?
private online gallery or in a book form (the book is an extra cost)
How long can the client keep the proofs?
I give the digital negatives and copyrights to the client with my packages. So, the proofs are kept (if purchased in book form) by the client forever.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos?
I share the copyright with my clients. They have the option to download directly from their private online gallery or can choose to have a disc.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos?
yes. but if the couple would like to be published all they have to do is contact me.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client?
yes.
Will images be available for viewing online?
yes.
What kind of albums do you offer?
flushmount and press printed
When will the client get the final album?
depending on the amount of time it takes to review the album, it can take up to 6 months before the finished album is complete and in the client's hands.
