Is your media preference film or digital? All media is digital and all images are digitally processed (fully edited post wedding).
How many photographers do you work with? I associate with a network of professional photographers in the Omaha metro area who can be called on if a 2nd shooter is requested.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes, I guarantee that I will be your photographer at your event. I do not hire another photographer for your event.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? No, I do not book more than one event in one day or weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Yes, I have a network of professional photographers in the Omaha metro area that can be called in case of an emergency.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? 2 Canon Cameras, 2 Canon Speedlites, 3 Canon Lenses, Photo Umbrella with light or speedlite. You can view my equipment on my website by clicking the "about" tab & selecting "Lindsey's gear".
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Yes, I have 2 Canon Cameras, 2 Canon Speedlites, 2 Alien Bee Flash Units, 5 Canon Lenses, back-up batteries and memory cards.
Do you charge hourly or full day? All packages include all day coverage, dvd with release and an engagement session.
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? All packages include all day coverage.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? I take minimal breaks as needed during the wedding day. Only to use the restroom or grab a quick drink. During the reception, I do ask that a meal is provided in order for me to refuel and get ready for the reception photographs. The meal break is quick and I will make sure to be present for all major events (usually eat when the bride and groom do). I always let the couple know when I am planning to eat and where, that way if they need me, I am there.
Do you charge for travel? Travel up to 60 miles 1 way is included (120 miles round trip). After 60 miles 1 way, a charge of $ 1/mile will apply (1 way only). For example, if your wedding is 90 miles 1 way for me, 90 - 60 = 30 miles over my travel allowance, therefore you would be charged $ 1 x 30 miles = $ 30.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? A private (password protected) online gallery is ready for you, your family and friends to view 4-6 weeks after the wedding. Shortly after (usually 1 week or less) you will get all the edited high resolution images on dvd with print release. You get 2 copies of each image, 1 in color and 1 in black and white. You will also have a private gallery to share of your engagement photos 2 weeks after your engagement session.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? All packages are digital and include all the edited high resolution images on dvd with print release. You will get 2 copies of each image, 1 in color and 1 in black and white (***on the dvd). I do offer proof prints, spiral bound proof books and flip books upon request for an addtional fee. Inquire for pricing on various sizes and styles.
How long can the client keep the proofs? All packages are digital and include all the edited high resolution images on dvd with print release. You will get 2 copies of each image, 1 in color and 1 in black and white (***on the dvd). I do offer proof prints, spiral bound proof books and flip books upon request for an addtional fee. Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, I retain the copyright release for the photos, but you get a print release, which means that you can print what you want, when you want, in whatever size you want. All packages are digital and include all the edited high resolution engagement and wedding images on dvd with print release.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes, unless there is a special request not to. Images may be used to showcase products (for example in an album, print or fine art product to show to new clients), on the web for advertising (my website, facebook, twitter and my blog) and/or at a bridal fair.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes. All packages are digital and include all the edited high resolution images on dvd with print release. You will get 2 copies of each image, 1 in color and 1 in black and white (***on the dvd).
Will images be available for viewing online? What kind of albums do you offer? Custom designed, flush mount albums, traditional albums, guest books, photo books, etc.
When will the client get the final album? After you select the images, album design takes approximately 2 weeks and you can expect the finished product with-in 6 weeks.
