Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? Hand coloring no! Black and white and special toning effects, yes.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? Oh yeah...
Is your media preference film or digital? I learned on film and love it. Sometimes I will shoot film but I am 99% digital.
How many photographers do you work with? Depends on the size of the wedding and the number of locations. Small weddings I can easily shoot solo. Others require 2 or more photographers.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes, you can always expect me to be the primary shooter at all my weddings.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? Never. I only shoot one wedding per weekend.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Yes, but I have never had to use them.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? I use all Canon gear. My equipment list is as follows. Canon Mark II, Canon Mark I, 24-70mm lens f2.8, 70-200mm lens f2.8, 16-40mm lens f4, 85mm lens f1.8, 15mm fisheye f2.8, Three 580EX Speedlites, Four Pocket Wizards, Lexar Compact Flash Cards (40 gigs)

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Sure. Depends on how much I like you...
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? I usually don't take a break until the reception when the guests are eating. You do need to feed me and my crew if the wedding is more than 4 hours. We like to eat but we make it snappy.
Do you charge for travel? Only if the wedding is outside of the DFW metroplex.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 1 to 2 Weeks for a portrait session. 4 to 6 Weeks for the wedding.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Online
How long can the client keep the proofs? Proofs stay online for 3 months.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes, but you have permission to print from the cd for personal use only.
