What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? I have no set "requirements" but in 200 weddings, the client or venue has always provided a meal of some kind.
Do you charge for travel? Beyond a certain driving distance I have reasonable travel fees.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Complete set in three weeks though I often post some images on line before this.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Book of 240 4x6 prints and complete set of pictures on CD's, typically at least 800 images.
How long can the client keep the proofs? Forever
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? I share it with the client
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? I retain the right to use the photos in my own advertising and promotion, etc.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes
Will images be available for viewing online? Yes, if requested
What kind of albums do you offer? Traditional and digital flush-mount
When will the client get the final album? After they choose the pictures, I design the album. Depending on the time of year and previous existing orders that I'm working on, this can take a few weeks. Once the client approves the layouts, the album takes about three weeks for delivery from the album crafters.
