What music genres are in your collection? 70s, 80s, 90s, Classic Rock, Country, Dance, Gospel, Hip Hop, Pop, R&B, Rock
Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: Our style of DJ is mixing different type of music (gender) but keeping in mind the flow of the party. Also playing what the client request and want. We always work with a list that the client provide, or can use our music database search at the following link http://www.kmf-group.com
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested? No, the more music the client provides us in the list the better. Also will play requested song of the guest.
What is your usual attire? Usually out team wear black dress shirt (long sleeve) with black pants and shoes.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? I always ask for a list of songs before the event to make sure I have all the songs requested. If I dont have a song during the party and have internet connection I will do my best to get the song.
How many other DJs do you work with? Our company has 2 DJs and has 2 more colleagues that can cover in an emergency situation.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? 3 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? Yes,
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? We have had customers come from India or Africa to get marry in Puerto Rico.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list? Yes.
Do you bring your own equipment? Yes.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? Yes, we have different packages that included light show, projectors, TV and more.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? Depending of the place and options selected by the client we usually get to the site 2 to 3 hours before to setup. For receptions or ceremony in hotels we ask the client to provide a table. For events outside of a hotel we bring our own table.
Do you have any extra space requirements? Depending of the options selected I will coordinate with the client to let them know about the space require. For example using a truss system for lights I will need a 10 feet area for this light truss. My area is about 6 by 6 feet approximately.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events? No.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? We have service for a M/C to be available for your reception for 2.5 to 3 hours, will be in charge of the following: a.Welcome everyone and ask people to take their seats for the introductions. b.Arrange the receiving line if required. c.Announce the bridal party entrance. d.Announce the bridal and groom in into the wedding reception. e.Introduce the person chosen to say a prayer of thanksgiving / grace. f.Announce speeches and introduce each speaker. g.After speeches, introduce the special dances (example: First Dance, Father/Daughter, Groom/Mother, etc.)
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing? I will try to get a song that everyone knows or has a up bit rhythm so the guest will be motivated to dance.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We will play all the way during the party. We dont take a break. We do ask the client to provide meals for KMF Group personnel that usually is 1 or 2 persons.
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? If I not available to play the day of the event I will make arrangement with the other DJ in the company. If he is not available I will contact other colleagues that we have for backups.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day? No. I will only work one party for that day.
What is your overtime rate? The overtime rate is 103.20 dollars an hour.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? Wedding outside the metropolitan area of Puerto Rico have a travel expense of 78.50 dollars. Accommodation costs are extra depending the location of the event and the time it finish, only apply to wedding outside the metropolitan area.
What is the required deposit to secure your services? The deposit is 50% of the total cost of the service. The deposit is pay thru Paypal, website.
