KC Mobile Pros is a Disc Jockey and Entertainment provider doing business in the Greater Kansas City Area. We strive to be different than other providers in how we approach our clients, and the shows that we perform at.
When you hire KC Mobile Pros to perform at your event, you will not get just a person that will push play and hide behind a table. You will get an interactive disc jockey that is experienced in the field of entertainment. Your event will be a fun-filled experience, with a professional appearance and sound, and will be memorable for years to come.
We have been in the disc jockey field since 1990 and have done thousands of various events from Birthday parties, Anniversary Parties, Corporate events and team building exercises; and of course our specialty; Wedding Receptions. We are insured for your protection through Safeco Insurance and we will provide references from current and past clients, along with venues we have performed at upon request.
We will work with all your vendors to coordinate smooth transitions from one formality to another, provide the appropriate interaction level, and make sure everything is going smooth for you while letting you sit back and enjoy your event. We know and understand that the DJ can make or break an event, and there is only one chance to get it right.

Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested?
We leave this up to the client. If they want us to allow requests, we will allow them all night long. As for the client requesting music, that is why we are there. They have the final call.
What is your usual attire?
Standard attire is Business. The client has the choice for different attire at time of booking to suit their event.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it?
If we do not have the song, and we can not obtain the song, we will contact the client and see if they want to provide it.
How many other DJs do you work with?
We work with many other companies to keep up in the industry with latest trends, fashions and technologies. As far as working within our company and subcontracting to them, we do not do that for any reason.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for?
Our minimum show is billed at 4 hours included. We have done shows as short as 2 hours.
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking?
Absolutely. We recommend this no matter who you book. For Weddings, we almost always require at least one meeting to make sure all the information that we have is accurate and that we know what the vision is that they expect from us.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events?
No.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list?
Yes, through our online client system the client can add must plays, dedications, do not plays, and much more.
Do you bring your own equipment?
Yes. We own and operate all of our own equipment.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service?
We carry a wide variety of lighting including disco balls, black lighting, par cans, DMX lighting, and more.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on?
We need on a standard event or Wedding 1 hour. If additional "addons" are ordered like club style lighting, then we will require more time.
Do you have any extra space requirements?
In general we ask for a 6' table. The total space we require with sound and lighting at minimum is 9' x 5'.
Do you have a sign or banner that you use at events?
No, we do not advertise at our events.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs?
Once again, this is up to the client. If the client asks us to be highly interactive then we do just that. If the client wants to just play the music, we will honor their wish.
How would you motivate the crowd if no one is dancing?
Music selection is key. If you are not playing the right music they are not going to dance. Adding fun to the atmosphere is also required. If there is not a "party" feeling, then there will be no party. Participation dances are always good to get people's feet "wet" on the dance floor.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal?
When our contracted start time happens, we do not stop until our contracted stop time.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks?
This question is not DJ appropriate
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event?
2 DJ's are assigned to every event. If one has an illness, accident, or otherwise can not make it, the 2nd DJ has the knowledge and training to setup and run with the show.
Do you book yourself for more than one event in a day?
Absolutely not.
What is your overtime rate?
$150 per hour
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge?
All travel expenses are included with each quote.
What is the required deposit to secure your services?
$150 deposit on every event is standard.
