Description: Kimberley's love for photography started in high school when she was one of those geeks on the yearbooks staff who always had a camera in hand. Her career in photography started after the birth of her first son in 1993. Shooting rolls and rolls of film of obviously the worlds most miraculous baby led her to a friendship with a photo lab manager where she was hired, thus saving her from a career that includes the phrase "Do you want fries with that? She learned darkroom techniques and the technical aspect of photo printing. The lab also had a small portrait studio that employed a photographer and one day the photographer did not show up, and the rest, as they say, is history. Portrait photography offered Kimberley the chance to hone her skills with clients and the technical side of photography and also helped put her through the photo program at Milwaukee Area Technical College, but when she found wedding photography her true love was found. Eschewing the corny faked posed moments, she instead found herself gravitating to the true moments in the day and one day found this kind of photography had a name; Wedding Photojournalism. Photographing between 25-30 weddings per year keeps her sane and allows her to give her clients top notch service. Kimberley lives in Milwaukee with her two sons, two dogs and two cats. When she is not chasing the big white dress, she loves to travel wildly and with abandon.

Do you have liability insurance? Yes

Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? No. My style is contemporary and classic to true photography without extensive digital effects. The photos I produce are meant to be real and timeless. Special techniques easily become faddish and dated.

Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? Yes, 16 years of shooting weddings. Over 400 to date!

Is your media preference film or digital? Digital

How many photographers do you work with? Always with an assistant, I have a crew of 5 that I use

Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? Yes, unless you book associate only coverage.

Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? It depends on the timeline and schedule of the events. I accept no more than two weddings per week end.

Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Absolutely. It's covered in depth in my contract.

What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Professional Canon Cameras

Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? More than I ever need....

Do you charge hourly or full day? Full day with hourly options as an add on

Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? $300 per hour

What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? I require a meal for coverages of 8 hours or over. If a meal is not provided, I ask for 30 minutes off site to eat.

Do you charge for travel? Outside of Metro Milwaukee, yes.

How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 4-6 weeks

In what format are the initial proofs offered? High Res digital files on a personalized jump drive.

How long can the client keep the proofs? All files belong to the client.

Do you retain the copyright for the photos? Yes. I retain the copyright but you have the rights to reproduce the photos as much as you want.

Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes.

Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes.

Will images be available for viewing online? Yes

What kind of albums do you offer? A variety of professional storybook albums.
