Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? You bet!
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? No more than one event per day, regardless of the amount of time being spent with a client
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? yes
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? 2-3 cameras, a variety of lenses, lighting equipment
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? always
Do you charge hourly or full day? Custom packages to suit everyone's needs
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? yes - I typically tier the hourly rate depending on the amount of additional hours needed
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? Just the occasional restroom break and I love to taste the cake!
Do you charge for travel? Yes, but only if wedding site exceeds 40 miles or more from the greater Seattle area.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? Typically 2-4 weeks from the event.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Online (password-protected) gallery on my website.
How long can the client keep the proofs? Online gallery maintained on website for 12 months
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? yes, CD of photos entitles bride and groom print rights for personal use.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? all packages offer CD of high resolution jpeg images
Will images be available for viewing online? yes
What kind of albums do you offer? range from simple to heirloom - parent 'thank you' books also available
When will the client get the final album? approx 2 weeks from 'approval/send to printer' date
