Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Describe your DJ style: Professional, stylish and elegant.
Is there a limit to the amount of music that can be requested? Only by the time of the event.
What is your usual attire? We will match the attire of the wedding. Ordinarily your DJ will show up in Coat and Tie unless you tell him otherwise.
If you do not have one of the songs pre-requested by the client, do you require that they provide it? No; We will play every song that is pre-requested... guaranteed! In fact, all of our equipment is digitally and computer based. Meaning that if we get a request that we don't have, we'll buy it and download it right then and there on the web.
How many other DJs do you work with? We currently have 4 full time DJs working for us.
What is the minimum amount of time you will DJ for? 2 Hours
Is the client able to meet the DJ before booking? Yes; We have an online form that the couple will fill out when the event is booked but prefer to have a consultation closer to the date of the event. The consultation is where their DJ will take them out to lunch and talk about their big day in detail based off the form and make any changes that may have come up.
Do you specialize in any ethnic or international events? We've performed for an assortment of ethnicities and cultures. For example, we've done Greek, Scottish, and Jewish weddings just to name a few.
Can the client submit a do-not-play list? Of course, we want your big day to be perfect.
Do you bring your own equipment? Of course! State of the art and always up to date.
What (if any) special equipment, such as disco balls or lighting, is offered with your service? We are a full service entertainment company. We will provide anything and everything you want. Including but not limited to mobile units, lights, lazers, smoke, bubble machine, etc. Visit our website to see videos and pics including our light show.
How much time do you usually need to set up? Do you require that the site or client provide a table for you to set up on? We need an hour but prefer that we have two. If the venue will allow us, we prefer to set up first thing in the morning or earlier that day to keep the unexpected from happening. We are very dedicated to the day. We do prefer that the venue provide a table to simply ensure that we match the other tables and blend in with the atmosphere. We pay a lot of attention to our appearance so we don't ruin the look you have worked so hard to achieve. However, we do have our own tables if necessary.
Do you have any extra space requirements? No, we are flexible.
Do you usually emcee the event or talk between songs? Again, it's entirely up to you. We do like to get involved and encourage people to get up and dance. But we never steal the spotlight away from the happy couple.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? It's never required but always appreciated.
Will you arrange for recorded music to play during your breaks? Yes
What is your backup plan in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? Absolutely, several.
What is your overtime rate? Varies.
Do you charge for travel expenses? If yes, how much do you charge? Sometimes; it depends on the distance and circumstances. We will cover that when we quote you a price.
What is the required deposit to secure your services? We require a 50% deposit to "save the date" and the remainder to be paid in full 15 days prior to the event.
