Do you have liability insurance? Yes
Do you offer special techniques such as hand-coloring or toning? Yes. Though we prefer to focus on the pure art of photography, all forms of editing are available.
Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? We have photographed every major venue in the greater cincinnati area.
Is your media preference film or digital? Combination of both with a focus on black and white film.
How many photographers do you work with? We never have less than 2 photographers at each wedding. All photographers are personally trained by Daniel Michael and work exclusively with Images by Daniel Michael to keep all photographers style consistant.
Do you guarantee your presence at the actual event? You have your choice of available photographers.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? Never more than one in a day.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? We always have at least one extra person scheduled to cover all situations.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? All top of the line Nikon and Cannon equipment with the professional line of glass for the lenses.
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? Multiple back ups at each event and also additional equipment at the studio. All weddings include a third person that acts as a bridal assistant but could also run to the studio or anywhere as needed for emergencies.
Do you charge hourly or full day? Full Day
Are you available to shoot extra hours? If yes, how much do you charge for extra hours? Yes but not necessary in most cases as packages typically include 8-12 hours.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? We don't require scheduled breaks.
Do you charge for travel? If more than one hour from our studio in Blue ash, yes.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? We deliver a final product 4-6 weeks after the event. Custom Coffee table albums require additional time.
In what format are the initial proofs offered? Your choice of digital files, custom proof books, gallery prints of all images.
How long can the client keep the proofs? Everything is yours to keep.
Do you retain the copyright for the photos? We release the rights to our clients to use the photos.
Do you reserve the right to publish the photos? Yes
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Yes
Will images be available for viewing online? Yes
What kind of albums do you offer? Everything from traditional to custom coffee table albums.
When will the client get the final album? typically 2-4 months from when they initially choose their photos. The range is depending primarily on the number of revisions the couple requests.
