Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this turn-of-the-century building features Richardsonian Romanesque architecture, a 345-foot clock tower, a five-story, marble-sheathed Rotunda adorned with 37 stained glass windows, and more! Conveniently located in downtown Minneapolis with easy access to hotels and parking, the City Hall and Courthouse offers an exceptional setting for your wedding ceremony, reception, or other special event. Do you rent other items such as linens, tables, or flatware? Dinner tables and chairs are included in the building rental. Cocktail tables are available for $12.50 each.
What is your staff-to-guest ratio? One staff member from the building is on site for the duration of the event. Caterer staffing is determined by the individual caterer.
Do you require clients to use a specific list of vendors? We have four caterers to choose from, all other vendors are the client's choice.
Do you require the client to use your musicians? If you do not require this, is that an additional fee to bring in one's own musicians? The choice of music is up to the client with no additional fees involved.
Do you have any special side rooms that can be rented out for the occasion? We provide one changing room.

How many power outlets does the venue have? Four in the main room, four in the vestibule. Two 10 amp circuits per room.
