Description: Welcome to Harbison Studios Photography! Joe and I (Robin) are a husband/wife team specializing in artistic and creative photography. The two of us are excited to provide you with great customer service and beautiful art for your home. We believe photography should tell your unique story by capturing the emotion and joy of your wedding day. Do you have experience shooting in various lighting situations? We love light. We have a background in studio lighting and have experience in dark dance floor lighting to bright dramatic sun with snow.
Is your media preference film or digital? All digital RAW imaging
How many photographers do you work with? We are a husband wife team of two photographers. We work with other photographers as needed in our network but we do not outsource our event photography.
Do you sometimes book yourself for more than one event in a day? Weekend? It depends on the needs of the couple. We prefer to devote a day to a couple and cater to their specific needs.
Do you have a replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on the day of the event? We have a couple of photographers that can back us up if needed.
What kind of equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of? Two new D800 Nikon full frame cameras, backup camera, dual cards in each camera for instant backups, 4 pro lenses, 3 flashes, 2 battery packs, radio remote triggers for flashes, light stands, reflectors, macro lens, spare batteries
Do you bring back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction? All our cameras have dual memory cards for instant backup. We always have a backup camera. We have multiple battery packs in each camera. Spare batteries and more spare batteries. Once off site the images are uploaded to a computer and wirelessly backed up throughout the editing process. The images always remain in 2-3 places until delivery to the client within 30 days.
Do you charge hourly or full day? We have packages and so the answer is 'Yes' to both.
What is your policy on taking breaks? If you require a meal break, do you require that the client provide your meal? What are breaks? Often clients encourage us to take a quick break but even when we do we ensure one of us is there shooting as not to miss anything.
Do you charge for travel? Only for over 100 miles outside of Denver. We are nonetheless flexible. We love shooting in creative settings.
How soon after the event are the proofs ready for viewing? 30 Days though we normally do 1-2 weeks. 1 Sneak preview the day after.
Do you provide the digital files and/or negatives (or copies of the negatives) to the client? Digital files on a CD. These come with printing rights. Our standard CDs are 4x6, 5x7, 8x10, 11x14. We request you go through our Studio for images larger than 11x14 so as to ensure you receive a quality product.
Will images be available for viewing online? We post a few images online on Facebook and our website. We prefer to go through images with the couple in a more personal setting or throw a party celebrating the event.
What kind of albums do you offer? Our albums come on layflat pages with binding of hardback, bonded leather, and genuine leather. They come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and materials.
When will the client get the final album? 30-60 days after the wedding is typical.
